Lauren Blakely has a gift that no other person on this planet can do. She can make me sit, perfectly content, for hours on end, and read her hilariously sexy stories from start to finish. Best Laid Plans is most definitely my favorite book of hers to date! A friends to lovers romance that made me swoon, made me laugh and had me begging Arden to REALLY tell Gabe what she wanted ;) I mean, a hot fireman and a bookstore owner? Every woman’s fantasy! The slow burn in this book...oh my...so much fun, so incredibly HOT! I truly loved everything about Best Laid Plans and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for just a good, fun, sexy story <3

Gabe is a truly good guy. Doesn’t hurt that he’s hot as all get out, funny and a pro at Words With Friends either. If only Arden would unfriend-zone him. Arden is a good girl wanting to break into being a bit naughty. Gabe comes to her rescue after a horrible break up and they quickly become best friends. But when she asks him to help her get some confidence with the naughty, it may be more than Gabe can bear. I loved this book! One truly likes and roots for the pair to have an HEA but enjoys the journey they have getting there. The audio book is wonderful too, as a duet version!

Gabe and Arden’s story was very sweet. These two characters had such chemistry. The story was very funny, romantic and provided a look at today’s problems as these two navigate everyday life. Definitely a good read.

I loved this book. Love, love, love!! It gave me all the good time feels. This swoony, smile inducing love story is everything I love about Lauren Blakely' writing. It didn't feel like a typical friends to lovers. I don't know how to explain it. It just felt like more. I fell for Gabe almost instantly. The way he cared for Arden when she was down and his overall good guy vibe made him to be an amazing hero. This guy was seriously sexy as can be. Lauren Blakely writes the best nice guys. Arden is another favorite Blakely heroine. She's super cute and very relatable. Oh my gosh, I'm so jealous of her job - books and wine... hello heaven. She's inexperience in many aspects of her love life, but she's not naive or weak. I love her demeanor and her attitude even when she unsure. Gabe and Arden's friendship was my favorite thing. I was addicted to their flirting and hot back and forth interactions. This book was so deliciously sexy without being over the top. I can never get enough of Lauren Blakely's books. They make me so dang happy. Best Laid Plans is no different. I highly highly highly recommend picking it up.

Gabe was struck by the cheese instead of being struck by cupids arrow, but hey whatever works. This sexy fireman had no clue how his life would change after catching the wrath of Arden in her depths of despair. Arden lost her love but gained a best friend all in the same day. Lauren is one of those few authors that I trust will give me a good story. I can read her books and get the sweet, steamy, romantic, and well-rounded vibes from the characters and their story. Best Laid Plans was no different. This friends-to-lovers romance was wonderfully written and I enjoyed the story. I loved the first meet between Arden and Gabe-it was funny and cute. It showed how their friendship started. As their story progressed, their friendship is at the fore-front. But what happens when a simple request is made and the possibility of more? I loved reading about Arden and Gabe trying to navigate through the sequence of events and feelings. The chemistry, the friendship, and the individual personalities made this story pop. I believed in them. I enjoyed seeing this all play out as the book progresses. I really do love these characters. Arden and Gabe were just the best in all the right ways. Another thing I loved about Lauren’s books is the connection between characters of previous and future books. It’s always a nice and fun surprise. I’m excited for what’s to come with Arden’s two best friends. Overall, a delightful read that I truly liked very much.

Best friends-to-lovers is my jam. No really, it's my absolute favorite genre of all and when one of my absolute favorite authors writes it? Yeah, I know it's going to be the best and you, Ms. Blakely killed it with this one! The plot, the characters, the slow-burn romance....all of these crucial ingredients mix together to create the perfect romantic comedy. I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this story!! Gabe and Arden, while they sort of knew each other prior to the start of the story still had an epic meet-cute. I knew from that moment that these two characters were destined for one another. They build a close friendship over time that even I was jealous of! Their easy nature was so natural and their witty banter had me laughing out loud. Gabe....le sigh. He's hot and sexy, a hero fireman, visits his Pops often and is always at the ready to help his best friend out. I loved his character---laid back, funny...just perfect! Arden is all sorts of adorable! A successful business owner, she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it. She's fun and sweet and the kind of character who you wish was your best friend in real life. Together, these two are the perfect match. Add in some wonderful secondary characters (Pops, Perri, Vanessa, Shaw, Derek) and it all equates to a well-rounded, fun story. As one of my favorite authors, Blakely is always spot on with her characters and stories and I always find a way to identify with them. Best Laid Plans hits all the right notes and then some. I've said it before but I truly think this is my favorite Blakely book to date. There's so much love and heart infused throughout the story that I felt connected to it on another level. Lauren Blakely has a gift that no other person on this planet can do. She can make me sit, perfectly content, for hours on end, and read her hilariously sexy stories from start to finish. Best Laid Plans is most definitely my favorite book of hers to date! A friends to lovers romance that made me swoon, made me laugh and had me begging Arden to REALLY tell Gabe what she wanted ;) I mean, a hot fireman and a bookstore owner? Every woman’s fantasy! The slow burn in this book...oh my...so much fun, so incredibly HOT! I truly loved everything about Best Laid Plans and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for just a good, fun, sexy story <3

Gabe is a truly good guy. Doesn’t hurt that he’s hot as all get out, funny and a pro at Words With Friends either. If only Arden would unfriend-zone him. Arden is a good girl wanting to break into being a bit naughty. Gabe comes to her rescue after a horrible break up and they quickly become best friends. But when she asks him to help her get some confidence with the naughty, it may be more than Gabe can bear. I loved this book! One truly likes and roots for the pair to have an HEA but enjoys the journey they have getting there. The audio book is wonderful too, as a duet version!

Gabe and Arden’s story was very sweet. These two characters had such chemistry. The story was very funny, romantic and provided a look at today’s problems as these two navigate everyday life. Definitely a good read.

I loved this book. Love, love, love!! It gave me all the good time feels. This swoony, smile inducing love story is everything I love about Lauren Blakely' writing. It didn't feel like a typical friends to lovers. I don't know how to explain it. It just felt like more. I fell for Gabe almost instantly. The way he cared for Arden when she was down and his overall good guy vibe made him to be an amazing hero. This guy was seriously sexy as can be. Lauren Blakely writes the best nice guys. Arden is another favorite Blakely heroine. She's super cute and very relatable. Oh my gosh, I'm so jealous of her job - books and wine... hello heaven. She's inexperience in many aspects of her love life, but she's not naive or weak. I love her demeanor and her attitude even when she unsure. Gabe and Arden's friendship was my favorite thing. I was addicted to their flirting and hot back and forth interactions. This book was so deliciously sexy without being over the top. I can never get enough of Lauren Blakely's books. Gabe was struck by the cheese instead of being struck by cupids arrow, but hey whatever works. Lauren is one of those few authors that I trust will give me a good story. I can read her books and get the sweet, steamy, romantic, and well-rounded vibes from the characters and their story. Best Laid Plans was no different. This friends-to-lovers romance was wonderfully written and I enjoyed the story. I loved the first meet between Arden and Gabe-it was funny and cute. It showed how their friendship started. As their story progressed, their friendship is at the fore-front. But what happens when a simple request is made and the possibility of more? I loved reading about Arden and Gabe trying to navigate through the sequence of events and feelings. The chemistry, the friendship, and the individual personalities made this story pop. I believed in them. I enjoyed seeing this all play out as the book progresses. I really do love these characters. Arden and Gabe were just the best in all the right ways. Another thing I loved about Lauren’s books is the connection between characters of previous and future books. It’s always a nice and fun surprise. I’m excited for what’s to come with Arden’s two best friends. Overall, a delightful read that I truly liked very much.

Best friends-to-lovers is my jam. No really, it's my absolute favorite genre of all and when one of my absolute favorite authors writes it? Yeah, I know it's going to be the best and you, Ms. Blakely killed it with this one! The plot, the characters, the slow-burn romance....all of these crucial ingredients mix together to create the perfect romantic comedy. I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this story!! Gabe and Arden, while they sort of knew each other prior to the start of the story still had an epic meet-cute. I knew from that moment that these two characters were destined for one another. They build a close friendship over time that even I was jealous of! Their easy nature was so natural and their witty banter had me laughing out loud. Gabe....le sigh. He's hot and sexy, a hero fireman, visits his Pops often and is always at the ready to help his best friend out. I loved his character---laid back, funny...just perfect! Arden is all sorts of adorable! A successful business owner, she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it. She's fun and sweet and the kind of character who you wish was your best friend in real life. Together, these two are the perfect match. Add in some wonderful secondary characters (Pops, Perri, Vanessa, Shaw, Derek) and it all equates to a well-rounded, fun story. As one of my favorite authors, Blakely is always spot on with her characters and stories and I always find a way to identify with them. Best Laid Plans hits all the right notes and then some. I've said it before but I truly think this is my favorite Blakely book to date. There's so much love and heart infused throughout the story that I felt connected to it on another level. I've said it before but I truly think this is my favorite Blakely book to date. There's so much love and heart infused throughout the story that I felt connected to it on another level. Everything about it is true perfection. 5 stars

Fun & Sexy!

Lauren Blakely has a gift that no other person on this planet can do. She can make me sit, perfectly content, for hours on end, and read her hilariously sexy stories from start to finish. Best Laid Plans is most definitely my favorite book of hers to date! A friends to lovers romance that made me swoon, made me laugh and had me begging Arden to REALLY tell Gabe what she wanted ;) I mean, a hot fireman and a bookstore owner? Every woman’s fantasy! The slow burn in this book...oh my...so much fun, so incredibly HOT! I truly loved everything about Best Laid Plans and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for just a good, fun, sexy story <3

When Plans Change

Gabe is a truly good guy. Doesn’t hurt that he’s hot as all get out, funny and a pro at Words With Friends either. If only Arden would unfriend-zone him. Arden is a good girl wanting to break into being a bit naughty. Gabe comes to her rescue after a horrible break up and they quickly become best friends. But when she asks him to help her get some confidence with the naughty, it may be more than Gabe can bear. I loved this book! One truly likes and roots for the pair to have an HEA but enjoys the journey they have getting there. The audio book is wonderful too, as a duet version!

Best Laid Plan

Gabe and Arden’s story was very sweet. These two characters had such chemistry. The story was very funny, romantic and provided a look at today’s problems as these two navigate everyday life. Definitely a good read.

I loved this book. Love, love, love!! It gave me all the good time feels. This swoony, smile inducing love story is everything I love about Lauren Blakely' writing. It didn't feel like a typical friends to lovers. I don't know how to explain it. It just felt like more. I fell for Gabe almost instantly. The way he cared for Arden when she was down and his overall good guy vibe made him to be an amazing hero. This guy was seriously sexy as can be. Lauren Blakely writes the best nice guys. Arden is another favorite Blakely heroine. She's super cute and very relatable. Oh my gosh, I'm so jealous of her job - books and wine... hello heaven. She's inexperience in many aspects of her love life, but she's not naive or weak. I love her demeanor and her attitude even when she unsure. Gabe and Arden's friendship was my favorite thing. I was addicted to their flirting and hot back and forth interactions. This book was so deliciously sexy without being over the top. I can never get enough of Lauren Blakely's books. They make me so dang happy. Best Laid Plans is no different. I highly highly highly recommend picking it up.

I know I can always count on an entertaining story with quirky and charismatic characters, plenty of humor and a happily ever after ending that’s satisfying in every way. Lauren’s latest couple become friends when Gabe stumbles upon Arden after she’s just been dumped by her current boyfriend because, according to him, she’s just to vanilla for him. After a year of friendship with Gabe, Arden decides he’s the perfect man to give her some experience with being naughty because she trusts him to still be her friend after classes are over. What could possibly go wrong? Trust me, you’re going to need to find out for yourself.

Two words. HOT. FIREMAN. Enough said. But, there’s so much more to this book that that, of course there is. There’s always more in a LB book! Slow burn, friendship, lust, HOT FIREMAN, sweetness, swoon worthy times, did I mention HOT FIREMAN? Ok, so I have a thing for a sexy hot fireman. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Oh, and there also teaching. Yup, teaching. Arden is so “vanilla”, at least that’s what her last boyfriend claims. How’s she supposed to know anyways? She hasn’t been with that many guys, and she can only go by what he told her, right? Gets her thinking...would she like it more naughty? The whole “lady in the streets and freak in the sheets” thing? Well, there’s only one way to find out if she likes naughty....and that’s to experiment, to test this theory of hers that she might indeed like naughty better than nice. Who better to ask than her HOT FIREMAN best friend, right?? Friendship on fire.... in more ways that one. LB fans definitely don’t wanna miss this one!

Fantastic!!

Lauren Blakely has done it again with her humor, sexy times and amazingly fun characters. Gabe and Arden are on fire. It was so fun watching this friendship evolve into oh so much more. Gabe was struck by the cheese instead of being struck by cupids arrow, but hey whatever works. This sexy fireman had no clue how his life would change after catching the wrath of Arden in her depths of despair. Arden lost her love but gained a best friend all in the same day. Get ready to see how her "Best Laid Plans" to learn from her best friend how to be "naughty" changed her life forever and just might teach her how to let herself love again.

A well-rounded delightful romance

Lauren is one of those few authors that I trust will give me a good story. I can read her books and get the sweet, steamy, romantic, and well-rounded vibes from the characters and their story. Best Laid Plans was no different. This friends-to-lovers romance was wonderfully written and I enjoyed the story. I loved the first meet between Arden and Gabe-it was funny and cute. It showed how their friendship started. As their story progressed, their friendship is at the fore-front. But what happens when a simple request is made and the possibility of more? I loved reading about Arden and Gabe trying to navigate through the sequence of events and feelings. The chemistry, the friendship, and the individual personalities made this story pop. I believed in them. I enjoyed seeing this all play out as the book progresses. I really do love these characters. Arden and Gabe were just the best in all the right ways. Another thing I loved about Lauren’s books is the connection between characters of previous and future books. It’s always a nice and fun surprise. I’m excited for what’s to come with Arden’s two best friends. Overall, a delightful read that I truly liked very much.

Best friends-to-lovers is my jam. No really, it's my absolute favorite genre of all and when one of my absolute favorite authors writes it? Yeah, I know it's going to be the best and you, Ms. Blakely killed it with this one! The plot, the characters, the slow-burn romance....all of these crucial ingredients mix together to create the perfect romantic comedy. I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this story!! Gabe and Arden, while they sort of knew each other prior to the start of the story still had an epic meet-cute. I knew from that moment that these two characters were destined for one another. They build a close friendship over time that even I was jealous of! Their easy nature was so natural and their witty banter had me laughing out loud. Gabe....le sigh. He's hot and sexy, a hero fireman, visits his Pops often and is always at the ready to help his best friend out. I loved his character---laid back, funny...just perfect! Arden is all sorts of adorable! A successful business owner, she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it. She's fun and sweet and the kind of character who you wish was your best friend in real life. Together, these two are the perfect match. Add in some wonderful secondary characters (Pops, Perri, Vanessa, Shaw, Derek) and it all equates to a well-rounded, fun story. As one of my favorite authors, Blakely is always spot on with her characters and stories and I always find a way to identify with them. Best Laid Plans hits all the right notes and then some.
